Short Game Help

Here’s the scenario: you’ve missed the green on a par 3 and there is a high bunker between your ball and the hole. What’s even worse is that the green slopes downwards towards the hole. You’re not having a nightmare and you’re not about to wake up from it because this is reality. Even though this shot is intimidating it is way easier than getting a hole in one.  With a little practice and correct technique you’ll be on your way to becoming a short-game maestro.

So how exactly do you play this shot? What we want to accomplish is a high floating shot that lands a couple of feet on the green and trickles towards the hole. First you set up with an open stance and open the clubface as far as you can. Try to imagine a glass of water resting on your 60 degree wedge’s club face. Also if you don’t have a 60 degree wedge make sure you get one. Just like you need a little luck to make a hole-in-one, you need a 60 degree wedge to have a truly versatile short game.

Once you adopt an open stance with an open face you should cock your wrists in your takeaway. On your downswing the key is to swing on your feet line. Also make sure that you accelerate through the shot as the ball wont travel far. Swing to a full finish and watch your ball rise into the air and land as softly as a feather. Hopefully you’ll save your par or even sneak in a birdie. Till then make sure that outings at your golf club have hole-in-one insurance.  Hole-in-one insurance makes playing par 3s worthwhile. All holes-in-one are rewarded so everyone’s happy at the end of the day. Foresite Sports is here to make your day brighter. Call 888 882 5440 to find out more. You won’t regret it.

The Importance Of A Trusted Coverage Provider

At Foresite Sports, we know the importance of your event. Whether it is a charity event or a contest to get more people onto your golf course, one thing is very important to note: you need the right coverage provider who offers the best overall service and product for your event.

There are numerous reasons to pay attention to who your coverage provider is. Within our company, we can offer you several key benefits to working with us:

  • Our products are protected and you can be confident that they are the highest quality possible. You do not have to worry about your coverage. Our underwriters are top rated.
  • We are here for you throughout the process. We ensure that you have the best service from the start of the application process through the signage receipt and throughout your special event. You can even apply for coverage up until the first golfer heads out.
  • We price match. In fact, we do better than that. We guarantee that our coverage product is going to be the most affordable for you and if you do find a company that offers something better, we will beat it by offering 110 percent of the price difference.

As you can see, working with the right company for your hole in one event matters. You need to know that the company you are working with has done this before (and of course we have thousands of times.) For that reason alone, contact Foresite Sports to start planning your next big event.

Foresite Sports’ Tips for Great Golf

Foresite Sports is a premier supplier of hole-in-one and golf contest insurance and is located in Bryn Mawr, PA if you ever decide to visit us. We’ve made a lot of customers happy and we intend to keep doing so. This wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t have a passion for what we do, as well as for the game of golf. This time around we are going to share some tips that should help you play your best golf ever. Hopefully that round will include a hole-in-one, but maybe that a bit too much to hope for.

Well, our first tip is to honestly assess your strengths and weaknesses. The key is to play to your strengths. If you don’t hit the ball far it might not be a good idea to try and carry a ball 265 yards over a lake. Instead, lay up! If you have a favorite yardage, be it 150 yards or 100 yards, try to leave that yardage into greens as many times as you can. If you really want to be a complete player, then we encourage you to try and turn your weaknesses into your future strengths. This sounds simple and you can call us “captain obvious” but this is a lot harder than you may think.

Next, make sure that you spice up your short game. There’s no point in hitting it great off of the tee, unless you can finish it off. “Drive for show and putt for a lot of dough.” This is one of golf’s most abused clichés, but no matter how annoying it gets, it is true!

The last tip is the hardest to do. Control your emotions! Don’t get too down or even too up. Overexcitement can be as defeating as anger or frustration. This allows you to make solid decisions in the 4 or so hours that you spend on the course.

So that’s it for this time. Lastly, Foresite Sports is the best when it comes to hole-in-one insurance. Call us at 888-882-5440 to find out why.

Odds of Getting a Hole In One

It’s the one thing that golfer’s would like to have done. It’s not easy by any means, and it requires some luck in the form of a perfect bounce. Of course we’re talking about a hole in one. Have you ever made one? If not, we at Foresite Sports strongly encourage you to keep trying. After all, all you need is one; one perfect shot that is! Anyways, what exactly are the odds of this happening?

Back in 2000, Francis Scheid, Ph.D., retired chairman of the mathematics department at Boston University shared his calculations with Golf Digest.

So what are the odds of someone making a hole in one in any round ? Any lucky guesses? Well, the answer is a whopping 3,125 to 1! Alright, on to the next question?

What are the odds of two players in the same foursome making a hole in one on the same hole?
Drum roll….ok maybe not. The answer is 26 million to 1. Good luck with that! It has been done, but those are truly some seemingly insurmountable odds.

Next up is Foresite Sports’ favorite odds: the odds of making a hole-in-one on a grand prize hole. These are pretty much the odds that stand between you and a million dollars or a grand prize. The odds of that occurring are 12,500 to 1!

Now for the special people. Those that have luck that never runs out. Some people have never ever gotten a hole in one, but these people have made more than one in one day. We’re talking about people who have dared to make two or even three aces in a single round. Ridiculous! So the odds of the same player making two aces in the same round are a strong 26 million to 1 whilst the mindboggling odds of the same player making 3 in one round are 488 billion to 1.

Anyways, don’t let these odds stop you from reaching your goal. Till then, we wish you the best of luck. For quality hole in one insurance you can call us at 888 882 5440 or visit us on the web at www.foresitesports.com

Looking to Raise More Money

If your event needs to make some additional money, consider adding Foresite Sports’ putting contest to your tournament package. In many circumstances, this type of event can add a bit more to those fundraising plans that you might have. For example, you can sell raffle tickets to your tournament members for the opportunity to putt for the grand prize. If you are considering the need to raise a few more dollars, do consider how our putting contests work.

All you need to do in this situation is to let us know and we will help you to put together the putting contest. It is similar to a hole in one challenge. Here’s how it works.

  • You will be able to offer valuable grand prizes to your golfers as a reward during this contest.
  • Select one or two golfers that are already in your event who will compete here.
  • They will then get to attempt a single 40 or 50 foot putt. They are playing for the grand prize.
  • If the participants are able to putt the ball into a hole in one try, they will win the grand prize.

So, how will you pay for this type of coverage? It is simple. If they win, Foresite Sports covers the costs. You just get to claim that someone in your event won the grand prize! To learn more about how putting contests are set up and how to get yours in place simply contact us today. This is a great way to make some extra money at your golf tournament.

Careers Are On The Line At This Year’s PGA School

For aspiring professional golfers who want to get onto the PGA Tour, this is a very important time. The final stage of tour school is being played and only 25 golfers will advance onto the PGA Tour, whilst the others will have to settle for the Nationwide Tour. The road here has been tough as there are at least two stages before the third and final stage of tour school. Professional golfers without any sort of status, have to go through a prequalification stage. So it’s pretty much dog-eat –dog and there is no insurance on anything.

So the feeling of making a hole-in-one would be similar to making it onto the PGA Tour for these golfers. What’s even more interesting is that David Duval, a former world number one golfer is participating in the final round. He is the first former number one player to do so, which shows how much his game slumped but also how good these golfers really are. US Hole In One definitely agrees that there is no insurance or guarantee on making it through tour school. These golfers have to play well and earn their way through.

However, Foresite Sports provides some insurance of its own, as most of you already know. Foresite Sports specializes in hole in one insurance and that is definitely a guaranteed service. So, if a person makes a hole-in-one on an insured hole they could win big. Really big! We’ve helped give away cars, cash prizes, vacation trips and more. Therefore, if you know the tournament director at your golf club, or even better, if you are the tournament director then you have come to the right place. We welcome you and would like to let you know that we not only offer the best hole-in-one coverage but it is really affordable. On top of that you can take a look at the golf outing services that we provide. These services can be viewed on our website (www.foresitesports.com) or you could call us directly at 888 882 5440.

Need to Cancel Your Hole In One Insurance?

Imagine having planned a big hole in one event and it rains. What can you do? This is one of the most common reasons that individuals need to reschedule or cancel their special event. We understand that. If you do need to do this, you can contact Foresite Sports through email or with a fax within a business day of your event and we will cancel or transfer your coverage to a new date..

What happens if you need to cancel your event altogether? The good news is that we understand that situations arise and therefore you can get a total refund for your tournament, minus Foresite Sports’s $40 cancellation fee.

What happens if the skies open in the middle of your event, leading to rain and the inability to continue your tournament. If this happens, you will need to let us know how many shots were taken at the target hole. Then, your refund will be prorated.

However, keep in mind that there is no fee for postponing your event, even if you do not yet know the new date for your event. Simply contact us and let us know what is happening and we will ensure that your event can continue according to your original goals. Even if circumstances are unique, such as the weather clears up but the putting contest is not possible, we will help you to reschedule your event so that your US Hole in One insurance protection remains in effect. We want to work with you to have a successful event and strive to do so.

Quick Facts About Hole In One Insurance – Part 1

Customer service comes first at Foresite Sports. Happy customers are customers who know what they are getting into and ultimately get what they signed up for. This is one of the reasons why Foresite Sports stands tall amongst its competitors .Here are some important things that all our valued customers should know:

  • Payment for hole in one prize coverage should be addressed to USHIO and postmarked prior to the day of the contest, or faxed to Foresite Sports with a valid Visa, MasterCard, or American Express prior to the start of the contest
  • If you choose mail over fax, we highly recommend that you use certified mail. It’s always wise to mail something that you can track
  • Take note that Insurance agents act exclusively on behalf of the applicant, and not Foresite Sports
  • Once we get your application, we at Foresite Sports will mail, fax or email written confirmation of your participation in our hole in one program (Certificate of Participation) based upon the submitted application and payment.
  • This Certificate of Participation will take the place of all prior agreements or  representations, whether written or oral, and contain the full agreement of both parties.
  • Next,  any changes after that must be approved  in writing by US Hole In One
  • Foresite Sports is free to use the Names and likenesses of the association member, acing golfer (winner), and hole sponsor without further compensation to the association member, winner or sponsor. For example, videos of our special hole-in-one winners are posted on YouTube
  • All witnesses have to be 18 years of age or older and chosen by the association member. For all prize limits, two (2) playing partners of the winner are required as witnesses along with the following:
  1. Prize limits of $2,000 to $59,999 need one non-event participant witness is required
  2. For prizes of $60,000 to $99,999, two non-event participant witnesses are required
  3. For prizes of $100,000 to $1,000,000, two non-event participant witnesses (one of which is a PGA Professional or Police Officer) are required as well as a continuous, unedited videotape shot from behind the green of all shots to win the prize. A videotape is also required, in addition to the witness requirements for all agreements in which both: the number of contestants is 24 or less AND the Prize Value is $25,000 or greater. We definitely want to make sure that no one tries to pull a fast one on us. If someone makes a hole in one, but the witness requirements aren’t met, Foresite Sports sadly does not have to pay the winner.

There are a couple more quick facts that we would like you to know and we will share them with you in part two of this blog segment. Till then we wish you the best both on and off the golf course.
