Important Tips For Binding Hole In One Insurance

Before getting a quote online or giving us a call at Foresite Sports, there are three specific pieces of information that we will need to know in order to provide you with a price quote for hole in one insurance.  We will need to know the number of golfers (amateurs and pros), the yardage of the Grand Prize par-3 hole(s), and the value of the Grand Prize.  Once you are ready to bind coverage and complete the one page application form we will also need to know the date of the golf tournament, the hole number for the Grand Prize hole, the name of the tournament and the name of the golf course where the tournament will take place.

Even if you do not know the exact number of golfers when getting your initial price quote don’t worry.  Most of our clients either base their count on the number of golfers from their tournament the year before or they simply make a guesstimate based their invite list.  It is important to keep in mind that you can always change the number of golfer up until the morning of the tournament.  The change will need to be submitted in writing, either fax or email.  Once we receive your written policy change we will then issue a refund or bill you for the difference.

The yardage of the par-3 Grand Prize hole will depend on the value of the prize you are purchasing hole in one insurance for.  For prizes up to $49,999 the minimum yardage is 150 yards for men.  For prizes valued from $50,000-$99,999 the men’s tees will need to play 160 yards or longer.  Finally, for prizes value at $100,000 or greater the hole will need to be 165 yards or longer.  Ladies can play up to fifteen (15) yards closer than the men for all prize levels.

Finally and most importantly, your prize value.  For most of our new clients this is usually the most challenging decision.  But really this is the easiest choice since the Grand Prize is completely up to you.  We have many of prize suggestions on our website that will help get you headed in the right direction of picking the best grand prize for your golf tournament.  Whether you want to do cash, a new car, a motorcycle, or a golf vacation it’s completely up to you!

Hopefully these tips will get off to a great start in planning your next golf tournament but if you should have any questions do not hesitate to contact one of our knowledgeable tournament consultants.
